Vaccinations are the single most effective way to protect your child from serious, life-threatening diseases. As a Pediatrician and Neonatologist with over 25 years of experience, Dr. Namita Sinha follows the immunization schedule recommended by the Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP). Important Note: The above schedule is based on IAP guidelines. Individual children may have different requirements depending on their health history, birth weight, or prior missed doses. Dr. Namita Sinha will assess your child's specific needs at each visit. Never self-administer vaccines — always consult your pediatrician.
Vaccines work best when given at the recommended age because that is when your child's immune system responds most effectively. Delaying or skipping vaccines leaves your child vulnerable during the very period they are most at risk. Even if your child has missed a scheduled vaccine, it is never too late — Dr. Namita Sinha can create a personalised catch-up schedule tailored to your child's needs.
Mild fever after vaccination is completely normal and usually resolves within 24–48 hours. A mild dose of paracetamol as advised by Dr. Namita is sufficient. Redness or swelling at the injection site is also common and harmless. However, if your child develops a high fever above 104°F, persistent crying for more than 3 hours, or any unusual reaction, please contact the clinic immediately at +91-9958063733.
Are multiple vaccines at one visit safe? Yes, completely. Giving multiple vaccines at the same visit is recommended by IAP and is proven safe. It reduces the number of clinic visits and ensures your child is protected as early as possible. The immune system of a healthy child can handle multiple vaccines at one time without any concern.
